Taper Pipe Reamers (AS PER ANSI B94.2) – Straight Flute
- Taper pipe reamers, manufactured according to ANSI B94.2 standards, are cutting tools specifically designed to prepare holes for being tapped with American Standard Taper Pipe Taps (NPT).
- Straight flutes are commonly used in general purpose through-hole applications and for reaming holes without interrupted cuts.
- Spiral flutes are advantageous in clearing swarf automatically.
